Is love easy?

I am pretty upset about the whole Westboro Baptist thing that's been going on for sometime. Mainly, I'm mad because people look at them and think they are Christians! Then we who are Christian's have to try and explain what they are doing. I, for one have no idea what they are doing. I remember my Lord saying "Let those without sin be the first to throw a stone." So are these people without sin? Cuz they are throwing some huge stones.

Now that the highest court in the land has upheld the freedom of speech, I feel at a loss for words. I am first and foremost a Believer, second I'm an American. I believe in this country and what it stands for, well maybe it's better to say I believe it what is was founded on. I do not agree with our President on anything, and I am excited about the Tea Party and believe they just might be this country's only hope. However, I believe more in the Trinity and what they can do for this country. I'm having a hard time with knowing something is "legal" and seeing it as a benefit or a helpful thing to anyone. Dr. Harper's question is "where are the tears?" Jeremiah's shed tears and was known as the weeping prophet. Jesus shed tears for Jerusalem. They didn't hold up offensive posters, shout derogatory comments, or focus at the speck in their brother's eye while ignore the plank in their own. (Not that Jesus had a plank or even a speck.)

These Westboro people are having fun in their hate. They are full of pride and self righteousness, that I don't think Jesus agrees with. I know that Jesus calls us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us, but I'm having a hard time with that. I want God to take them all out! They give Christian's a bad name and I for one don't claim them. God does not hate gay's! He hates the life style, the sin! We need to remember that you can get more bee's with honey than you can vinegar! Is it easy? NO way! But we are called to do the hard stuff in life, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it!
