Wrong!

Today is so wrong on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin! Public school started today, and I just gotta say, people should put their children on the buses and grow up! Across the street from my house is an elementary school, and I am floored by the number of cars out here and the length of the lines. I had stopped by the church on my way home to check out my new prayer rooms that Carness is going to let me use. Well, they are old cry rooms in the sanctuary and the chapel, but they are new to me! Anyway, I headed home and got to the school at about 2:45, and the line to turn right was not moving at all. So I got into the middle lane and thought I would turn right into the turn lane that would take me down two houses and I would pull into my driveway. No! The middle turn lane was full of cars for at least a half-mile down the road. So I turned left to go behind my house into the area that I run in the mornings. I got ready to turn back onto Olive, and there were cars parked all over the place and a FedEx truck trying to run over me. So I slowly went through all that and got back on the road and turned into my driveway. For 40 minutes, you couldn't get to my house unless you really wanted to and knew the traffic flow. Now it's fine. I think I saw four buses that were being loaded, and that's it. I just don't get parents.
The picture I am putting up is the biggest hill on the U of A campus, and it's what I am climbing every morning on my way to work at the bookstore. It may not look that bad, but I dare you to come walk it with me. We sold $224,000 worth of stuff yesterday, and today should have been busier. All the little rush girls came in today. OK, not all of them but a lot of them. We had a few folks try and walk out with loads of books without paying. It was really funny. They said they thought it was being put on account—on account that they're broke! Try again, freshmen, and book em', Danno! We had one gal whose shoe set the alarm off, and all I can say is we don't sell shoes, thank God. So, I am starting to really see the glory of staying home and being bored, and it didn't even take a week.
On top of everything else someone stole the cat's food, from the locked up garage!

one possible way to get parents:
(a) have kids.
(b) send them to/from school on the bus
(c) listen to the kids' stories of what happens on the bus.

just sayin'.

Now Lee, I rode the bus when I was little and it didn't hurt me. In fact it made me tougher, I had to take care of my little sister!
