One of the cool things we do as a church family is share food! Today was the Chili Cook-off between the men. 9 Crockpots showed up, numbered 1 to 9 and the line began to form. Tasting, sampling and flat-out chowing down took place over the next hour! It was great fun!
I have come to the conclusion that beans don't really belong in a chili! I like beans, I don't like them in chili, it's just a texture thing for me. Plus if you weren't raised eating beans in your chili, well, chili isn't suppose to have beans!
