Undecided

As much as I wanted to go for a run this morning, I just couldn't pull myself out of bed to do it. I think I like the fact that Alex gets Fridays and Saturdays off. This allows me a day to try and sleep in along with him, and that's just what I did today. My lower back was hurting me, and when that happens, running usually isn't the thing to help it. So I went back to bed after I got up and fed the herd and slept into the morning. I find myself thinking I'm wasting time when I do that, although I’m working on getting over that idea.
The P & G NW Arkansas Championship is in town from the 6th to the 12th, and Alex came home with two "Valid All Week" tickets last night. You know, maybe being the preacher’s wife has some benefits I didn't think about before coming on board. Oh, for those of you not from here, this is the LPGA (aka ladies’ golf). So I think we are going to run around the golf course today and act like we care.
I also found out from Asbury that I can't get any financial aid if I'm classified as "undecided." Here's the short version of the story: I was working toward my master's in Leadership, really hoping that someday they would offer a degree in spiritual formation. Words started floating around ATS that they were going to offer it the fall of 2010. So guess what—I was going to change my degree program to SF and be a happy camper. Well the head dude with admissions just called me and said, alas, they were not offering it yet, and did I want to go back to the degree of leadership? I said yes, so he changed my status, and I should be hearing from my financial aid gal with a little good news today. I am caught up on my reading of the Book of Discipline. My next reading will be about the doctrinal standards and our theological task, with social principles thrown in too. Alex said very sarcastically that I will love the social principles part. What that means is it will either make me mad or be a waste of my time. I'll keep you posted.

people (deservedly) hate sit-ups and push-ups but it does strengthen the lower back. It might help.

I really hope you enjoy your studies.

Thanks Lee, you will be hearing about it. I have a ball so I think I'll start with those sit-ups.
